New Orleans Westbank Overview
While actually due south of New Orleans, the Westbank lies on the western side of the Mississippi River.
Major communities include:
- Algiers and English Turn in Orleans Parish
- Belle Chasse in Plaquemines Parish
- Gretna and Harvey in Jefferson Parish
The great majority of the homes on the Westbank are single family homes which range from estate homes on the golf course in English Turn to the very affordable suburban home available in much of the area.
