New Orleans East Homes and Area Information

Like Lakeview, much of New Orleans East was destroyed by flooding. It will require some time before this affordable and convenient section of New Orleans comes back completely.

However, progress is ongoing, witnessed by increasing sales of renovated homes. There remain a lot of opportunities for renovators with the skills and willingness to tackle the rigors of rebuilding.

There are very few multi-family homes on the market in New Orleans East. Condos are even more uncommon.
