Lakeview Homes and Area Information

Much of Lakeview was devastated by flooding following Hurricane Katrina in August 2005. Some 18 months later, Lakeview is springing back to life with home renovations and the opening of new businesses.

There are plenty of homes available in Lakeview. These include newly renovated properties as well as those still waiting rebuilding.

Prior to Katrina, Lakeview was one of the most popular residential neighborhoods in the Metro New Orleans area. It promises to regain that high regard as time goes by.
