Gretna Homes and Area Information

The city of Gretna lies across the Mississippi River from downtown New Orleans on what many locals call the "Best Bank". At the hub of the community is the Jefferson Parish courthouse and other municipal buildings as well as a large shopping center. There are two developments with golf courses.

If older homes appeal to you, look in "Old Gretna" where early 1900's shotgun and Victorian homes abound.
